Destiny qualified as a chiropractor in 1995 and practiced full time until having her first child in 2004. The transition from a successful chiropractic office to motherhood wasn’t an easy one for her. Her own mother, a stained glass artist, introduced her to the basics of jewellery making, hoping there would be some therapeutic value. After making her first necklace, Destiny was hooked! Never able to do things in moderation, she started a small business making all kinds of jewellery using semi-precious stones and precious metals. After having her second child in 2006, Destiny returned to chiropractic, keeping jewellery making as a side line. It seemed to make sense at this time to combine her two favourite things in life (aside from her family!), chiropractic and jewellery making.
