20 Things You Didn’t Know About Dr. Jim Sigafoose

Okay folks, Patsy and I were talking and we were wondering if people who knew and loved Sig, knew him the way we knew him at home.

Patsy said that Sig, Dad, was so transparent, that most likely you all know all of this already.

If we are able to surprise you with a few things you didn’t know, well then you will know some of the things we really miss and what we smile and laugh about now.

So without further ado, here is…

20 Things You Didn’t Know About Dr. Jim Sigafoose.

  1. IMG_0448His favorite snack was, bread and butter pickles with peanut butter.
  2. Sig, did not like airports, at all!
  3. More then anything he loved the simple life.
  4. He had the most beautiful feet.
  5. Though he loved all animals, he loved cats the most.
  6. He absolutely would not walk barefooted.
  7. Sig loved to wash his car on a beautiful sunny day.
  8. His favorite kind of movies were Westerns.
  9. He read every Louie L’Amour book ever written.
  10. He loved sweets, but hated dark chocolate.
  11. Sig was a WWI and WWII fanatic, he could never get enough of the history behind it all.
  12. He loved to visit grave yards and look at the stones.
  13. (My favorite) He peed out of the Cosmos hotel window in Moscow, Russia, during the, “Good Will Games,” as a sign of protest to their communist government.
  14. Sig, HATED seafood, but he LOVED fishing.
  15. He would never put the bait on the fishing hook or take the fish off, so he never fished alone.
  16. He was a guest host on, “The PTL Show.” with Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker.
  17. He had his own local Sunday morning religious TV show called, “The Hour Of Power With Sigafoose.”
  18. He was 7 years old when he met Patsy, he was 17 years old when he kissed her for the first time and10599488_10204072777560576_6232709072876407240_n he was 21 years old when he married her.
  19. His favorite pet ever was an Airedale named, “Patsy.”
  20. Last, but not nearly least, Sig’s favorite food in the entire world was Mexican and all Mexican food was compared to his favorite restaurant, “Los Olivos,” in Scottsdale, Arizona.

21.  He would never let us watch M.A.S.H, because he said it was a medically based TV show. 🙂
